Meet Lil Girl. She is about 2 years old. She came to the rescue shy and timid so she will do best with older children. A fenced yard is best for she is still learning to walk on a leash. She loves being around other dogs as long as they about her size. She has no problem with cats. She is doing well on house training. She is a sweet girl just needs extra love to continue to come out of her shell. She is shy and takes awhile to warm up. To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $200 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs. All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranaged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try email first. We are all volunteers that work so we can not easily take or make phone calls. 8/17/17 6:14 PM

Heartliy is about 1.5 years old. She is spayed and current on vaccinations and microchipped. Best guess on breed is blue tick hound/beagle and maybe some walking tree hound. She is about 30 lbs. She is good with other dogs and kids. She is curious about cats but will leave them alone if they don't want to be bothered. She is house and kennel trained. Typical active fun young dog. Heartliy is also a super snuggler. To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $200 donation is requested at the time of adoption. Belle is a sweet laid back lovely girl. She is 11 years old and healthy. She is about 12 lbs. She has a cropped tail and cropped ears. She has clear eyes and gets around well. She does have some loose knee caps but they do not really bother her. Belle gets along fine with other dogs. I am sure she would be fine with a cat too. Belle is housetrained. She is looking for a nice easy going home to leave out her senior years. She is fine with kids just not babies. She came to us because she did not do good with the new baby in the house. If you are looking for a low key easy dog to snuggle with she is your gal. To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $50 donation is requested at the time of adoption. Lilly is a very sweet girl and she loves people and someone to pet her and love on her. She is about 3 years old. She is very playful and loves toys and chase. She is fine with other dogs. No idea about cats. She does like to chase squirrels and rabbits. Lilly loves a yard to run in. She will want to snuggle with you but also alert you when she hears somethings. She is about 15 lbs. Her foster home has a dogie door that she uses but she also seems housetrained without it. She does like something to do so when you are gone you might have to kennel her. Our best guess is that she is a long legged chihuahua mixed with Papillon or terrier not sure just a sweet small mix dog. She might not be best with small kids as she gets excited and really does like fingers and toes. To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $200 donation is requested at the time of adoption. Gulliver is a 3-4 year-old male Harlequin Great Dane. We don't know much of his history other than he was found as a stray in Kansas. He arrived into rescue sadly emaciated, but thanks to his foster family, he is now at a healthy weight. Like many Danes, Gulliver can be somewhat stubborn. He is good on a leash but will need someone who can be a strong consistent leader to continue working with him. He was not trained or well-socialized. With efforts from his foster family, Gulliver has learned many things including sit, down, shake, speak, and he is wild about the laser pointer. This big guy, although he will chase chickens, is good with other dogs and cats. At this point, we haven’t seen how he is around small children. He started slowly with the house-training concept, but with a regular routine and a structured, positive environment, he is making excellent progress. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. This beautiful boy is a diamond in the rough. With consistent leadership and patience, Gulliver will be an awesome companion and pet. To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $300 donation is requested at the time of adoption.
